life's fragile thing, harry

Wow! the last two days have been, well, wow. thats all i can describe them as! Yesterday i went on splits with the missionaries again and it was amazing! we were teaching this girl who was really awesome, talking about the book of mormon and joseph smith and all this other stuff and i have jsut never participated in anything like it! The whole time i was just soaking it all up and felt like I was re-learning the gospel all over again and it felt so good- the spirit was so strong its all i could think about. Missionary work is an amazing thing that I just now realized i think. and there's no doubt in my mind that i am in the right time and that the gospel is true!
The other crazy thing that happened is that at the PT clinic where i work a guy almost died! We went to take him off the back machine and he wasnt breathing. apparently he had some sort of heart problem or somthing. anyway we had to rush and do CPR and find the doctor and call 911 and everything. Everyone was kind of freaking out and it shook us up! i mean, we work in a doctors office but its not an ER! anyway, the paramedics came and we had to keep all the OTHER patients and physical therapists calm while they worked on him and got a pulse back. Then they took him out on a stretcher and to the hospital. No word on what happened to him after that. But wow, that really shakes you up! anyways I'm off for a run!

MARY! Man, i loved your blog today! It made me super excited to do missionary work. My papers are in (as of yesterday-- woo hoo!) and I'm just so excited. I'm not even concerned about where I'm going now-- i feel like missionary work is the same wherever you go. That's crazy about that guy in the office! It reminds of that guy who died at the rest stop on the way to the beach that my dad gave mouth-to-mouth. . . I miss you, you crazy girl! ~ang

yo mare. That's cool you got to actually teach someone. I've been on spits a couple of times before but I've never actually been there for a discussion. So is it still warm enough to run outside?
