Living outside the box

hey guys!! Well, i made it back alive from the Salmon river...it was SO fun!! beautiful weather ALL week, sunny and hot, and lots of white water. We took a duckie (inflatable kayak) and that was SO much fun in the rapids! hopefully i will get some pictures to post on here- that rafting trip has got to be up there with one of the best ones i have taken. i have a new love- rodeo. its where you sit on the front of the raft with your legs hanging off the front and you hold on to the rope with one hand, like your riding a bull. the waves are SO much fun that way. anyhoo now i am back and live starts again. classes started today. i am taking wilderness first aid, which will be really fun and useful...and there are some fun poeple in it with me. This semester will be busy but lots of fun i think. Right now, i am contemplating what to do this fall. any ideas for a cool internship would be appreciated. i might go work for Anasazi in arizona, i hear that is pretty sweet. And i am going to ALASKA in two weeks!! well, st george/vegas this weekend for the fourth, which i am SO excited about because its my favorite holiday and i cant wait. and then the next weekend probably the tetons and then i leave for alaska the 14th. i am loving july. I went in an amazing run today (sven- a definite rave run). and it was perfect. the sun was setting and the colors of the green fields and the blue skies after the storms today- they were like creamy clouds and this really cool steel blue. and the setting sun made the colors just radiate. i LOVE nature. i love being outside. i could LIVE outside. anyhooo.......sorry i say that alot huh? well i better go to bed. for some reason i am going kayaking at 6:30 am before class...this afternoon it seemed like a good idea, but now....hmmm its late, i am tired, and you know how mornings are....well i will make it, only cause i love to Yak. good night world!
