Turkey Lurkey

Well, tomorrow is thanksgiving. my second favorite holiday. I am excited even though i am not home with the fam. I am in provo, and working for most of it. I just love thanksgiving, because its so american- you run, you play football and hang out with your family and eat lots of great food. and thats what life should be about. anyways i just love the simple, homey feeling of thanksgiving. So, tomorrow, i will run a trukey trot, about 4 miles with my friend Becky, and then play football for a while, and then go to her familys house and hang out. It should be fun. I have to say though, I will miss the trotters and the Ricks. they are the classic thanksgiving holiday families. the ones i remember always being with. lots of good times with them :)
A little update, since getting home from arizona, suprisingly its been pretty warm! monday heidi and aarick carlson were in town, so we hung out and i took them climbing. the weather was really nice! Yesterday, it was nice AGAIN! so me, becky and steph went climbing up at rock canyon and took some cool pics of my favorite crack up there ("a rose is a rose" is what its called, but we renamed it "bloody fingers"). We climbed all afternoon and it was beautiful!! what a great day, and so late in november! i am torn- i love the warm weather, for climbing so late, but i ache for the snow to come! i bought my new snowboarding bindings- the Burton Lexa, which are pretty freaking sweet. I have pics to post! and I got Thrity Two boots (prospects), which are way light and just all around cool. I am pretty much out of money now, but excited for the season to start so i can put my money to good use! I mean, its nice to look at, but i am ready to RIDE! anyhoo here are some pics of my new gear. i will post thanksgiving ones in a few days i suppose! have a great holiday everyone!! eat lots and get fat!

its funny cause when i read that in your blog i thought you were making something peotic in there or something, but then realized you probly didnt mean it. so i thought i'd point that out to ya. i hear ya, the trotters and ricks are the traditional thanksgiving friends.
