ITS OFFICIAL!!!i HAVE A JOB IN ALASKA!! a sweet one where i get get to lead poeple on guided trips mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing and all kids of other sweet trips. i get paid to do what i love. i guess you could say i am excited!! YAHOO!!!! and how about this- just thinking of this idea- hawaii in the fall? eh?i could do a semester at byu-h. i am looking into it, let me know what you think.

wow mary! Talk about jealous. Loved the pics from Saturday and your job is amazing!! Man! I'm going to have to visit you this summer. You better reserve me a week in late August. Just in case Angela gets back a little early she can come to.
P.S. I guess this means I'll be coming to the kayaking class for sure this wed.
About BYU-H: If you can find classes there that you want to take, I would do it. You only get to be in college once. I wish I did more 'study abroad' type things. I've heard a lot of people say Hawaii isn't all that it's cracked up to be but I say don't knock it till you try it. Anyways, all I'm trying to say is that I will miss you in the fall...especially after you'll be gone all summer :( but if you want to do it, I say go for it. And of course (here's my cheesy side coming out) don't forget to pray about big stuff like that. Who know's maybe you'll meet your special someone there! j/k
ok, I know this is long but I have one more thing to say. My oldest brother Bruce went to BYU-H for a year or so and got jumped by a bunch of native guys. So if you do go, be careful. I've also heard there's some tension between locals and non about which beaches you're 'allowed' to go to and such. Anyways, blah blah blah I think my comment is longer than your post. Peace out!

Wow mare! those ice pictures are so cool!!! they look so rugged and crazy and out of the ordinary! its funny emma was playing barbies with me and she was the mom and i was the girl, and she said i wanted to a tomboy. so i asked her what a tomboy was (since i was supposed to be one) and she said its a girl who wants to be a boy. the other day dave was saying stuff about hard core, and i asked him what that meant and he said it was like doing really dangerous stunts, like on a skateboard... haha. you REally rub off on those kids! hawaii? i would like to come visit you!!! and Hopefully i will be able to come visit you this summer in AK!!! i am at school right now, subbing. i had a student teacher all day long and he taught EVERY thing. i sat. i read, i watched. i didnt do any teaching, any talking, anything! AND i got to leave at 2:00 instead of 3:30. wahoo! so i got paid for a full day and it was for me to read!!!
