well today turned out more lame than expected. apparently the sun didnt really care that it was the solstice, and by the time party time came around it was 40 degrees, and windy and rainy. definitely NOT party weather. you would THINK the sun would come out for the big day. UGH! and dan- easter was not bumped for solstice. its not even on the top five.

Man Mary, my solstice was anti climatical too. Only it was probably my fault...I fell asleep. I was planning on a midnight hike or something, but alas my down pillow called too loud. The cool thing though was that I fell asleep when it was still kind of light and woke up when it was light(I know, nothing new for you alaska people). It made me feel like I got a ton of sleep even though I went to bed at like 10:30 and got up at 6. I know that may sound like a lot of sleep, but I'm a 9 hour a night girl. Anyways I keep thinking that you are close enough to visit. I want to go climbing this weekend. I don't want to make new friends. I guess I'll just have to keep hanging out with Kori's fam, my fam, Alex and Rachel until you guys come back. Miss you!
..what is on your top 5 holidays? i think in all fairness, Easter should be somewhere...after all, it is like the most important.
