Kori and I took about a 25 mile bike ride today all over kelly canyon and around, and it was awesome! we did some great hill climbs and some fun downhill, plus we were surrounded by amazing fall colors and rode right down along the river for a while. it was sweet. then i grilled salmon for dinner. mmmhmmm. even store bought, it was still good. first time eating store bought salmon. Kori being cool biking thru kelly canyon
me being not so cool biking thru kelly's. i guess i will never figure this move out. i have a history of dropping my bike on myself...
Kori and I in kelly- the fall colors were amazing so we had to take some pics!!!
...but then i kind of figured it out...
AFTER BIKING, Jo, Kori and I decided we needed to take initiative to save the cat, Pat. He had these rediculous mats all over that were making him look like a misshapen ball of fur. So we sedated him with some kind of somthing in a needle (dont worry, we talked to the vet...) we had to hold him down while Jo gave him the shot. then he went limp and we cut off all those nasty fur balls. He will thank us when he wakes up... Dr. Jo prepping the anesthetic...
Me and Kori holding down Pat...imperative that we dont let go, or cat will freak out and kill us all.

TO MARE FORM EMMARUE
I LOVE YOU MARE SO MUCH DO YOU LIKE YONCONS IDO DO YOU I HAVE A NOTE FOR YOU. I WILL MAYL IT.
i want to see what the cat looks like , you know the after pic.s
you have such interesting posts... for example, who sedates cats to cut off matted fur balls? i did like your bike trick, though, very cool.
We would do that with our cats as well, but the only difference is that we wouldn't sedate them. We had to thwart off the ferocity of claws and teeth. I find that it made things more interesting and it builds character. So in fact it is a win win type of situation.
That post just made me crack up in the middle of the computer lab. That was the funniest thing I have read in FOREVER, but the best part was the wide eyed cat on the table and the one of Jo and the syringe. Only you guys would save a cat suffering from a socially unaceptable mane of tangled hair. Hopefully her new haircut will be less embarrassing. Your bike ride was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I love yellow aspens!
hey heads up, jinx is also prone to furballs, but she hasnt looked like a matted ball o fur yet, but i read in a book you need to bath her (and probably Pat) and brush her to prevent them. i have only bathes jinx once, we just put her in the tub and poured water on her so she felt like she was on solid ground..maybe try that. sedating Pat looks a little sketchy to say the least...haha.. nice fall pictures though!
where did you find that cat? Please tell me its not somthing you found on the street! P.S. "Beware of a bad cat bearing a grudge."
bah! ha ha ha! a cat, and some trimmers.
hey, r u going to sedate the cat when you give it a bath? i'd like to help.
Say Mare,
Would you consider sedation when you go for a hair cut? It might be interesting to see what the cut looked like after that. Actually I think Cassie should sedate Jinxy most of the time, you know like keep her bombed, drooling bombed.
Are you going to do some after pics to see if the cat is in fact improved?
