Blame it on the Tetons

AHHH heading back to the tetons!!! Monday, Sven, Jo, Brian, Jens, and I are planning on climbing Symmetry Spire, a 6 pitch climb in the tetons. In light of Memorial Day, I thought I would post a picture of the late mountaineer Willi Unseold on his way to Symmetry Spire, back in the 50s. (note, i will be climbing, not doing this...) "Risk is at the heart of all education"

"You've climbed the highest mountain in the world. What's left? It's all downhill from there. You've got to set your sights on something higher than Everest."

"It has to be real enough to kill you."

Thanks for being the person you were, Willi. You inspired more than a few of us :)

Mary oh Mary-Miriam (in a high-pitched voice) and I were talking about you today and how we miss you. Did you know they are building a house in stinkin' Sterling and are going to be moving soon? I asked them how I"m supposed to just stop by when they live way the heck out there. Sheesh! Well, miss you, love you, keep safe!
