AHHH heading back to the tetons!!! Monday, Sven, Jo, Brian, Jens, and I are planning on climbing Symmetry Spire, a 6 pitch climb in the tetons. In light of Memorial Day, I thought I would post a picture of the late mountaineer Willi Unseold on his way to Symmetry Spire, back in the 50s. (note, i will be climbing, not doing this...)

Mary oh Mary-Miriam (in a high-pitched voice) and I were talking about you today and how we miss you. Did you know they are building a house in stinkin' Sterling and are going to be moving soon? I asked them how I"m supposed to just stop by when they live way the heck out there. Sheesh! Well, miss you, love you, keep safe!

cassie- those qoutes are things willi unseold said while he was alive. and no, he didnt die in that picture, he died in an avalanche in Mt Ranier, taking a group of students climbing. if you clicked on the link(his name), you coud read all of that :)
Symmetry pretty much made us all hard-core. Rock on. Willi would have been so proud ;)
