Well, its been one month on Friday that i have been working at the city of St. George. After much consideration, i have decided that after my 400 hours of internship requirements (roughly, mid November), I am going to quit and find another job. I just don't see the relevance in working for city parks and rec any longer than i have to, since i have no desire to work for them in the future, i want to start gaining experience where i really need it, like outdoor commercial and private companies. So hopefully by January I will have another job. Let the adventure search begin!!
**suggestions and tips accepted.

Suggestion: Move to Salt Lake so I can see you always!
Mare,
Are you forgeting the main reason you accepted this job in the 1st place? to gain needed experience in all the areas of the rec industry, including planning, financial, and governmental regs, etc, etc, ad nauseum, ad infinitum? and what of the referrence you'll receive, after agreeing to stay a year, and then failing to live up to your word?
Just a few thoughts from your conscience, you know the little voice in your ear that sayes things you wanted to ignore. And what of Brian, the BYU prof who put in good word for his favorite little student, wouldn't look bad on him, and how will that affect the way he helps those coming after you?
