This weekend, the lovers, Brian 'B-honey' Hays and Annie J La Hatch soon-to-be Hays came to my town. We decided to hike Echo Canyon. It helps to have park ranger in your midst, because we didn't have to pay to get in the park, AND B-honey scored us a sweet back country permit, so i didn't have to wait in line at 6 am again. Here's some pics of how it all went down...
First, we hike to the trailhead. Brian and Angela are turbo hikers, so this was my view most of the time. At least they arent kissing in this one :) Sorry Ang....
Next, get into the slot and suit up! The water was nasty and cold. But the Canyon- AWESOME! Who wouldn't want to rappel into potholes full of slimy water and dead rats? It all about the adventure. (and when you think adventure, think WETSUITS!)
Brian had a sweet suit with a crotch flap. I am sure that would come in handy some time.
Angela has a thing for sandstone... She just looks so happy here, I had to post this one.
Well, thats pretty much all I got of Echo.... just think of the adventures we could have if any of YOU came down to visit!

Mare--you are a crack up. I'm going to score myself a horribly ugly photo of you and post it on my blog. . . ha! Were we (b-honey and I) really that bad? Bummer. I had a BLAST with you this weekend. Echo and Tuachan included.
that looks like tons of fun... but i'm just too busy bouldering in Am. Fork Canyon right now to come down there! j/k mare-bear! Tolman finished an awesome v5 today which has some awesome clingers and took many tries to defeat. Later alligator.
