this week we were teaching the family we have been working with, domingo, julia, and rudy. their son edwin we baptized last month. at chruch last sunday the dad, domingo, told me that he wanted to be baptized. i about peed my pants. but i played it cool. i said, well, if you really want to, we can do that. if you feel sure in your heart. and he gave me this look like, of course i am sure. and smiled. i was so happy. so be were teaching them a lot this week, working with julia and their son rudy, who were still unsure about it. we had a lot of really cool discussions with them, and the spirit was there. we talked of the temple, of eternal families, the family proc, and everything we could think of. they prayed and prayed. and finally, thursday they all committed!!!! it was so exciting! saturday we were able to witness three baptisms,. my first family in the mission. and wow. it was so amazing. the kid who gave us the reference to teach this family was there. he has one of the most amazing testimonies i have seen, but cannot get baptized because his mom is nuts and wont let him. but he still comes and because of him we found this family and baptized them. he bore his testimony at the baptism and it was powerful. the spirit was there. i loved loved loved it more than alma and co, and their thousands of converts. it was a cool feeling to see them get the sprirt in chruch the next day and all show up in white shirts and ties. wow. what a weekend.
so thats waht i have for now. we are now searching for more families, we have a few in mind, but the work may slow down a bit. no worries though, things are great here in guate. love you all. have a great week!!!

thats great mary , ill tell you though some of the best feelings come once your home , and its years after your mission and you get a letter saying some one has decided to go on a mission or go to the temple , thats when iots the best cause you know they are staying true to what you taught them.
