my day was good, well, its been good so far anyway. lets see... last week we had a zone conference which was just amazing. i was really feeling bogged down and frustrated with the work and the poeple here. the branch is really crappy right now and lacking in faith more than anything. working with them is like pulling teeth. and the investigators are pretty slow and also frustrating. recieving answers to `prayers and then doing nothing about it...grrr. so i arrived at the conf. a little less animated than usual. but we had a great time, and all the talks and discussions were really just for me. i left feeling energized and full of faityh. we are here to do the Lords work. if we are working hard and searching for people with the sure faith and hope that we WILL find the chosen, then we WILL. i know this. that night we came home and went to visit a less active family,. they are a difficult family because two of the three sons are baptizzed, but they are jsut horrible.they dont listen, they are always talking bad and very disrespectful, always out in the street just frustrating kids. but that night their older brotehr was home, and he was the only one who listened to us, and he actually was VERY interested and we taught him the first lesson, which was really FULL of the spirit. it was the highlight of my week. i just love that feeling of talking and knowing that the spirit is just oozing right out of my words. its really incredible. i felt that so much with him, and i guess he is just fed up with his brothers and says he is really to change his life and wants to know about the gospel. he is reading what we leave for him, he has questions, and he is jus really pilas. i was so suprised because before he has shown NO interest of respect at all. but he was different and is different now. it was a testimony that its true, we WILL find those people who are chosen.
anyhoo, the rest of the week was normal as usual, working and it was super hot once again....we made chocobabanas which are pretty great. and i have been LOVING cocnuts. i will really miss that. just knocking down coconuts and cutting them up to drink and eat. mmm mmm. you cant beat it.
next week we will be in senahu for a zone activity, should be pretty fun, but the internet there sucks so i guess you will be prepared for short and crappy email next week. but thats alright, maybe you can all write me real letters so i actaully get mail once and a while eh?
