chillin with the chilluns....good birth control!!

WELL this weekend my family went out of town and decided to leave my 8 year old nephew and 5 year old niece home with me! so i was a mom for the weekend. wow. it was fun, we played alot and i took them to the local climbing wall, we went to dinner, got ice cream, you know, things to insure that i stay the 'favorite' aunt. anyway, we finished with only one hole in the wall and one forgotten kid...but that was fun. I now for sure dont plan on having kids for a long time! but when i do, it will be fun :)
Well anyway, the christmas season is started and its getting crazy! I have not even THOUGHT about presents to buy and make, let alone started on the shopping. not that i will do that much shopping this year, cause i have no money! haha oh well i'm over it! anyway i am going to make this short because i have to work at 6 am again tomorrow as well as do a 12 mile run ( i know, it would be normal if i had been running with sven lately but i have been running short the past few weeks so i am working my way back up :) I am about to start training for another marathon, the salt lake and hopefully one in new zealand while i'm there. Also, there is a slight possibility of doing the st george marathon this fall. i know, a little ambitious, but it doesnt hurt to plan lots assuming that half of what i plan doesnt work out right? but for sure at least 2 marathons this coming year! wahoo!! OH! and lucky me i finally found a training partner out here! she's cool and going to idaho and we might live together this summer! (if im not in the tetons...dont freak out yet sven, i'm working on things...). anyhoo well i guess i am ramblnig now and i need to sleep!! I am getting excited for this coming year and everything i am planning. i miss all you guys and have a good day!!

MARY!
I have been trying to comment on your blog for the last few days and it wasn't letting me. I LOVE reading your posts . . . they are so much fun. Way to go on training for a new marathon-- I am so impressed with your mental toughness, good guts. You sound busy (quasi-mom of two. . .or three?)--I miss you being here. It was so nice to always have someone to exercise with. My training has dwindled (especially since I don't have the goal of three marathons in one year, you bugger)! Reading your post about tracting made me nervous, but excited. I know that it is kind of strange to knock on someone's door and ask them that, but if you don't, who will!?? I think it's awesome that you go with the missionaries. I should be getting my call pretty soon! :)
