hey!!! got a few mintues today to blog!!! OH, and angela, i remembered that you leave in the 2nd, which is NOW here, but not till tomorrow for yoU!! holy cow! good luck i miss you!!!
anyhoo lets see....well i dont have a TON to write today- i did my 20 miles run this morning. ran to the beach and back. thats always a killer. took a nice nap for my reward. ahhh that feels good. There is a cereal here calle Weet-Bix, which is totally a NZ and aussie thing, and i have decided i love it. so now my host mom says 'youre a kiwiw kid now!!' haha i guess i am. i love it here and i wish everyone i knew could come and see!! I am really enjoying the niking everywhere while the weather is nice. Its a nice relaxing thing that winds me down on the way home and winds me up on the way into town. odd how that works. anyways, we are not up to much today, just chillin in town and i think going to the park later.
Our gorup here is pretty cool, i like most every one. its hard to do things wiht 40 poeple though, i dont like the huge-ness of it. I wish I had acar so i could go and do things more, like climbing nad kayaking and the likes, but i dont, so i guess i jsut have to accept that i cant do something cool EVERY day. oh well. our skills classes start tomorrow so that should be fun!!! OH, and for those of you who have wondered at me- my roomate sara is really cool. i like her, she is kind of quiet and we dont spend a WHOLE lot of time together, but she is cool. so dont think i am avoiding the subject! haha and for the rest of the inquiring minds- sven and i have NOT hooked up. :) well time is out! i miss you all! i will keep posting and figureout pictures sometime soon as well!! Sweet as!! OH and ang- the culture here is really not too different from the US....a little but feels close to ours. anyhoo i'm out!

Hey you! I just wanted to say "goodbye Mare-beaR!" I love you like crazy and you are such a happy-go-lucky girl. YOu are so awesome and powerful and stable. hey mare nice to hear from you! thanks for the complement on my painting. i love it so much! yeah youre right, if you care about anything you will do better on it. thats probably why i could never figure out what i wanted to do for college, i dont want to work for somebody because i just dont care about working some part time job, or something i dont LOVE. i like real estate, i love looking at houses, and its gona be fun. dans much better at it than me, hes like the one that does all the homework and is learning it the best. which is okay with me. i talked to our first forclosure door, where we talk to someone about to lose their home if they dont get help, thats where we come in... so no mary and sven yet, its been a month, only 2 more to go right? 20 miles ! hooo. good job mare. well im gona go, this really probably should have been an email. MAR?!? it's lindsay i miss you like crazy!! anyways i actually do look at this thing and see how you are doin' but hey i just wanted to touch base and say hi. Things with the fam are finally starting to get back to normal. . . sort of. Your family has been amazing through everything and that has been a big blessing! they even brought the BEST dinner over for us when my mom got out of the hospital. It was super super yummy! Mom is doing well- some days are better than others and we're still meeting with specialists to see what our options are from here.
