yakety yak

well lately kayaking has been on my mind. well, actually the end of summer has been on my mind. i have been kind of sad because, as the semester ends, i realize that summer does too. i have had so much fun and played so much, yet i feel like i havent even started to do what i want to. i didnt really accomplish all (0r hardly any) of the goals that i had at the start. maybe thats why i am sad for it to be over. but i guess everything good (and bad) has to end sometime eh? I still am not sure about this fall. it looks like arizona for at least part of the fall, and possibly rexburg for a month of so. i want to take that Wilderness First Responder course they offer the first block, so we will see if i can get into that, and then figure out housing and money. Any job ideas would be GREAT! SO back to the first sentence- kayaking. i have been sad that i didnt go kayaking as much as i wanted to (but i went a lot i supose) and i have been wanting to go really alot this week. So i am going today, down the snake river!! yahoo!! the hoback section, which should be really fun and a little wild. i have always wanted to boat that part of the river- i have only done it in a raft, and kayaks make everything funner/scarier/crazier/wetter. so thats what i will be doing this afternoon. Then if everything goes as planned, i will go to utah tomorrow night and go mtn biking with my brother tom friday, and climbing saturday with jedd. and all over in between- visiting old buddies form provo i never see! yahoo! and its my nephew's birthday and they will be there this weekend, so it should be sweet. i wont plan it too much, because it seems like everytime i plan a trip and write it on here, it doesnt go how i planned, or things dont work out. so we will see. i am excited, hope its FUN! anyhoo well i gotta go catch some lunch and get ready to go!
PS i made apple crisp today without a recipe, and it turned out so good! meg said it was the best she's ever had :) HAH hows that for trophy wife skills!?!
