freedom's just another word for nothin left to lose...

Well, i guess its been a week since i posted...sorry about that. i am usually better, but i guess i have been pretty busy. last week...hmm well i taught snowboarding at targhee (volunteer) to about 11 middle school kids. it was pretty interesting. but pretty fun. i am going to do that every wed. for four weeks. and then friday we took a outdoor activites staff trip out to Rees Peak by Island park. We skiied in, then set up camp (thats right, my second weekend of winter camping..brrr!), and then skiied the next day. it was a pretty fun adventure! i liek winter camping, its so pretty and quiet out there, with the snowy trees and night sky, and its adventurous. But i wouldnt say that i LOVE it. a few times a year is alright with me. i love camping when its nice and warm outside and i can walk around in my chacos and not worry about my fingers freezing when i cook my dinner. But it makes me appreciate things like down booties for your feet. those were inspired peices of gear. and down jackets. and nalgene bottles full of hot water to sleep with :) ahhh those i like.
In other news, i made my first loaf of bread in my bread machine today. that was exciting. it turned out alright, but i dont think it raised as much as it was supposed to. but it tasted good to me. and when i say i made it, i mean i helped heidi make it mostly. anyhoo today was a great sunday full of insight and the spirit, and i was happy about that. this is getting long for me, i better jet!!

i don't know about that winter camping business... sounds awful chilly. i really like my nice, cozy four-poster and several pillows. the skiing, however, sounds AWESOME... it's been a very long time, i have missed it. congrats on the bread, you will be a trophy wife before you know it. love you mare!

Your weekend sounded sweet. I no longer worry about the fat ducks that stuck around provo for the winter. Nothing man-made can compete with down. It's out of control.

I like how you made my name a link. Think people will look into that? I am having issues in my spelling confidence today. I keep thinking I spell things wrong. Maybe it's because I have a hurt eye. Darn Kevin.
