When I am not in my drab little corner of the office trying to find legitimate things to do for money, I find ways to have fun. Here are a few:
Emily came Friday night and went climbing with me, then Saturday we went to Lake Powell with Sheri, Doug, and their friends. Dont worry, it gets better- Sunday Jo, Carrie, and Carla and my new friend Nikaela from here came to visit, and Monday we hiked the SUBWAY, from the top down, which was fabulous.

i think i want a canyoneer jo stomach for halloween. the subway is so pretty!!! so is lake powell! man i am really jealous of your travels right now! and yah you should really watch out for that stagnant water mare, i hope you didnt drink any, and i hope an amoeba didnt get in your ear. man vs wild man, bear grylls, said he heard of a man that died within 5 days of an amoeba in his ear. glad you have a new friend down there. i dreamed last night we drove to st george just to see you and surprise you and you had gone to lake powell so we had to turn around... it was sad.

I should have just gone... I knew I would be jealous every time I looked at your blog. Yes, I can take cameras in the wilderness. I just can't take pictures of any of the boys faces and I feel silly taking a bunch because it's my job, not a vacation...
