things are good here. coban is RAINY! it rains here every single day. its sunny in the morning and pours in the afternoon. i am always wet, and i even get cold in the night time. its a little different and lame walking around in the city, my comp keeps coralling me in, because in el estor, we didnt have that many cars, and we could walk in the middle of the road. here i will die if i do that....and i keep almost dying. well not really, but i am trying to break the habit of walking in the middle of the road. its interesting. BUT, the good news is, i get along with my new comp, i think we will be just fine. she is no longer afraid of gringas...hehe and we found some really sweet parts of our area to work in. we have the city, but also quite a bit of the outskirts of coban, and as SOON AS YOU LEAVE coban, there are mountains. like, its just nestled in the mountains anyhoo, so its super pretty. so we have been working out in the mountain outskirts and its sweet! yesterday i helped a lady carry a load of platanos up the mountain to her house and she only spoke qeqchi. so i was happy, throwing in my qeqchi phrases. and we found a lady here that is willing to give us classes in qeqchi as well. so we wont lose it. anyhoo, also we went to church yesterday, and for the first time in my mission, i felt like i got to relax on the sabbath. it was pretty sweet. there were tons of preisthood holders, no problems with passing the sacrament, leaders for all the organizations, and we didnt have to teach anything or get bombarded by needy members. it was amazing. i left feeling spiritually fed. ahhh what a change. i still do miss el estor and polochic, OBVIOUSLY. but i am adjusting here. and i think it will be fine. anyhoo, well, thats waht i got for now. we are doing a cool activity this week with the members, where we are challenging them all to carry a book of mormon with them EVERYWHERE for a solid week. and we are going to train them on how to talk about the book and share it, and hopoefully they have some cool experiences, and better, references!!! its called the libro del mormon marathon. you should all participate as well. its wed to wed. yeah do it and write me about your experiences. open those mouths of yours and SHARE THE GOSPEL!!!
i love you all, keep on doing what youre doing, and remeber what dad always says: its all true.}
love hermana hall
