Dear Mare-O,
Love the ramblin' tho'ts you come up with sometimes, it's like De-ja Vu or something for me, i've had many of the same or at least very similar ones. Always seem to come when there is significant change coming up, kinda sad to see the old life slip away and kinda scarry to start a new one too, and then there's the reality that you can never entirely go back too. The best you can hope for is that you've done your best to get the most out of every experience, so you never have say, I wish I had done this more or that again or tried this before it was too late.
I'm at a loss to understand the velveteen chaco referrence, does that refer to the old ones getting the green fur on them, (moldy) or some movie line?
Love dad--RWH
Wasn't the velveteen rabbit the most tramatic story as a child? I became terrified to neglect any inanimate object. . .toys, toothpaste, tacks-- everything suddenly had a personality. Man, mare. I think about you all the time here in AK. It's like it radiates mary vibes. The only bummerrooski is that you and your new green chacos aren't a bike ride (or a ferry ride) away. Poo stinks and so does that.
Nothing ends the day better than a little bit of thoughts from Mary.
Thanks for your thoughts mary. I might be there at the finish line of the marathon for support...I might have to work though. It is free fishing day. Which reminds me. Maybe after the race we can float the river and fish?
HEY MAIMY-MO!
I MISS YOU!
I like those chacos! I've been wanting to get some GOOD summer sandals... you know, the kind that don't make your feet stink. LOL!
You have cool people in your life! I can just tell from their comments! They are funny!
LOVE YOU!
LOVE, Anna Bananiebutts (Carlson)
