things are good here, we were eating at a members house last night, and we were eating this caldo (soup) with some kind of meat. as we were eating, they informed me that it was cow lung i believe. thats why it was nice and soft and good for eating. lungs. cant say i have ever eaten those before. i just smiled and shoved the rest of it in, washing it down with a tortilla and some nice hot corn water....heheh it was nice. other than that, things are going well, we had interviews with president on friday, and had to travel to the town about 2 hours in a crowded van thing. the bridge was closed for a while, so we had to wait for about 40 minutes, and then they opened it and it was like a mad mad rush to get across, with like 20 trucks and busses full of people. i thought the bridge was going to break with all those people on it, and then the all were racing up the road, and it was SOOO dusty you literally could not see (or breathe) and our driver was rediculous and passing everyone in the dust and couldnt see. i really thought we might die. wowsers. gotta love those drivers in guate. still working with the people that we are hoping to baptize this month, we just need to work on getting them married, which is the hard part. for some reason its just NOT the thing to do here. really annoying. anyhoo, thast the news from lake izabal. hehe. love you guys!! miss you!!! good luck up there!! next week we will be in coban, with a supermarket, and fast food, pizza, everything we could ever want!! WAHOO!! i am excited! anyhoo love you all!!!mary
